The Phonological Tool Kit is designed to assist you in understanding where your child is on their reading and spelling journey. 
 
Phonological awareness is fundamental before moving on to Phonics, and if your child is struggling on their Phonics journey is it worth going back to the phonological awarness skills to see if any challenges are highlighted!
 
The idea is to work through the sections (not all at once) to see IF there are any phonological skills that your child struggles with/is unsure of. These sections include:

Syllables
Word Recognition
Initial sounds and alliteration
Blending
Segmenting
Deleting and manipulating sounds
