Each sound has 8-word cards with sound buttons below on each A4 sheet, to help break the word down to read/decode. Each word is on a pale background to help make the word easier to read, reducing the white glare or black writing on a white background.

or - north, cord, porch, corn, fork, torch, thorn, short.
ow - owl, now, cow, clown, howl, frown, prowl, wow.
